Office of Multicultural Affairs

The cultural and linguistic diversity of the Northern Territory (NT) is recognised, celebrated and supported through a number of services provided by the Office of Multicultural Affairs.

There are two main ways the office assists migrant and multicultural communities and promotes cultural and linguistic diversity in our multicultural society:

  • sponsoring grants and awards programs
  • and providing information, such as fact sheets, calendars of events and other publications.

Go to the multicultural residents page of the Northern Territory Government website for more information including all of the following:

  • events
  • grants
  • community profiles
  • scholarships
  • overseas qualifications assessments
  • find a multicultural group.

For interpreter information go to the interpreting and translating service page of the Northern Territory Government website.
