The official calendar of events for the Top End region has been published by the Office of Youth Affairs and is now available for free download via the new Youth NT Website www.youth.nt.gov.au
There are over 100 awesome events to be a part of including; Couch Surfing in Darwin, Rock ya Temper Concert in Palmerston, Barkly Beats Concert in Tennant Creek and a movie marathon in Alice Springs. Katherine events include the official opening of the YORET centre and youth activity space.
The events and activities are designed by youth for youth, with a number made possible through the Office of Youth Affairs grants programs, to engage young people in pro-social activities set in safe, drug-and-alcohol free settings.
NT Youth Week is the largest celebration of young people aged 12 to 25 years held across the NT and celebrates the positive contributions young people make to their community.
The NTG through the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics are offering a special NT Youth Week bus pass for young people aged 12 to 25 years in Darwin, Palmerston and Alice Springs to make ensure easy access to be part of the celebrations.
The bus pass is for free travel on Darwin Bus and Alice Springs Bus networks and can be downloaded from the Youth NT website www.youth.nt.gov.au
