Northern Territory Gender Equality Framework

The Northern Territory Government is developing a Northern Territory Gender Equality Framework and would like to hear from all Northern Territorians about how gender inequality affects their lives.

What is gender equality?

Gender equality is about equal opportunities for all people to access safety, health and wellbeing, education, employment, and opportunities to participate in decision making and leadership.

Gender equality is good for everyone. People who live in societies with high levels of gender equality experience many positive benefits, including better quality of life, less mental health issues, and more safety.

Why should I share my experiences with gender equality?

The Northern Territory Government would like to hear from all Northern Territorians about how gender inequality affects their lives to help us develop a Northern Territory Gender Equality Framework.

We welcome input from people from all genders, ages, abilities, ethnicities, races, religions, and locations across the NT.
