Congratulations to NT Young Achiever Awards winner Mark Munnich

At 24, Mark Munnich has already achieved a lot.  On Saturday night his many accomplishments were publically recognised when he was announced as the NT’s overall Young Achiever of the Year as well as taking out the Minister for Territory Families Excellence in Youth Leadership Award.

The 2017 NT Young Achiever Awards were held in Darwin on Saturday night at a Gala event, with family, friends and colleagues gathering to celebrate our many outstanding young Territorians.

Mark says he was very humbled by the awards and acknowledged the support he receives from family, friends and work mates. He is currently completing a Bachelor of Law at CDU and works as a Community Legal Educator for the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA). He is also one of the NT’s 2017 Youth Ambassadors for National Youth Week.

He is an active member of the community, working as an ambassador for the Office of Indigenous Student Support and volunteers with the Bilata Indigenous Pathways Program. Mark is also a member of the Winkiku Rrumbangi Indigenous Lawyers Association, Treasurer of the NT AIDS and Hepatitis Council and is the youngest board member of Danila Dilba Health Service.
