2018 Foster and Kinship Carer Excellence Awards

The Foster and Kinship Carer Excellence Awards celebrate the dedication, commitment, and achievements of foster and kinship carers, staff and young people that have experienced out of home care and the enormous contribution they make to the lives of vulnerable children in every community across the Territory.

There are five award categories to recognise carers and the community of people involved in supporting children in out of home care. This includes the children thriving in the care of a loving family, the siblings who go the extra mile to make them feel welcome in their home, and the support workers who go above and beyond when doing their job, and gives thanks to all people that contribute to our carer and kinship community.

Award ceremonies and celebrations will be held across the Territory during National Children’s Week held from October 19 to 28.
